Shauna has been a PT since 2011 practicing in orthopedics. She has continued on the quest for knowledge and gotten numerous certifications and continuing education in visceral manipulation, dry needling, instrument assisted manual therapy, and functional neurology. Most recently, her journey with her son has opened up information on treatments for ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and Irlen syndrome. Traditional medical practice fee model:
Initial session typically $429 billed to insurance, subsequent sessions: $284 (average for example)
Plan of care typically 8-12 sessions over 4-6 weeks minimum. Typical co-pay/co-insurance $50 would be $600 for a plan of care with $3,553 billed to insurance. Depending on deductible, you may pay more than co-pay and usually do.
